Our Story 

     First and foremost, we take deep pride in creating the perfect concert experience for both the artist and our guests. The very talented Ari Hest summed it up when he was talking about Downstairs Live with another concert promoter after playing a show in Virginia...when he said,"Downstairs Live does it right every time."
     Downstairs Live is a very unique listening room venue in the basement of a house in North Augusta, SC. You have to see it to believe it, and you have to experience it to understand it. We started this venture in 2004 with 44 friends coming over to watch Matthew Kahler and Count Kellam play some music in our basement. A year later we were selling out our 90 seat room. Since 2005, we've accumulated over 500 fellow music lovers from across the southeast who attend our shows. They have enabled us to create the perfect listening room...always filled with the perfect audience...and this has been achieved by "word of mouth" growth. 
         Downstairs Live has proven to be one of the
most well-respected listening rooms around due to our consistent ability to provide memorable concert experiences for both the artists and guests. We are now wanting to share these intimate concerts with fellow music lovers across the world and have started streaming our shows live over the Internet.
